I've been looking at a lot of fabrics lately. Between redecorating both of our porches, updating the master, and fabric ideas for clients, I've been seeing a lot of pretty pretty patterns. Truth be told, some of my favorite fabrics so far for our master bedroom have all been... Amy Butler. I'm kind of shocked how much I'm loving her fabrics right now. Not because she doesn't design beautiful things, but I just usually like something a tad more geometric or taylored.
Well a few months back I saw Amy's {that right, we're on a first name basis} house on Apartment Therapy and Oh.My.Gosh.Gorge!
This entry way has me itching to make over a mid-century style ranch so badly...
Points for anyone that noticed the Ikea DIY lighting in the first picture. Here is a better picture of it though.
I just really love how casual and relaxed this whole area feels.
I love her house...I think I thought it would be a little brighter than it is considering her rad fabrics, but I definitely love all the natural elements and just *pops* of color. I guess there is a reason why everyone likes her patterns...girl has great taste!
