Friday Finds

It returns!  I know, it's been quite a while since I've had a Friday Find.  I'm truly going to work on that. {It might be a "work-in-progress" type deal.  I'm in *college* remember?!}

But since I recently told you all about my bench-for-our-bedroom obsession, I figured it would only be polite for me to keep you updated.

First, you need to know how much of a cheap ass frugal I am.  Like, I always think I can get a better deal, even if I can't.  It's somewhat of a sickness, but most of the time I make out pretty good.  We like being able to pay our mortgage every month, ya know?!

Some of the benches I liked were about 3 times more than I wanted to pay, and those were the ones on the cheap end of the spectrum!  No go.

Isn't she a beaut!  I'm actually serious.  It's the perfect size, the top isn't in good condition {aka perfect for covering} and it has the cutest little legs with curvy feet.

Then my awesome mom sends me a text with this picture saying "For $5 a yard, do you like this?"
$5 BUCKS A YARD?! BUY THE WHOLE DANG ROLL!
I'll find something to do with it, like my lamp shades and more pillows, duh!
{I need more pillows like I need another hole in my head.}

Don't worry, I'll do a post on how I made the bench and lamp shades!
