A few weeks ago Suzy and I were chatting over cocktails email about incorporating color in our lives. We've all seen these challenges about actually trying a project you've "pinned" or improving your home on a budget {both challenges I am all for, by the way}, but what about one that makes you step out of your comfort zone.
The thought was, "What if we had a group of bloggers each pick a color they've been dying to infuse in their own home, but have been too afraid to pull the trigger. Then they have to use it three different ways in their home; decor, paint, & fabric."
Fun right?!
So for the next 5 Tuesdays I'll be get'n brave and bringing in my new color. Also, Suzy & I invited some pretty talented bloggers, and we couldn't be happier about everybody that has decided to take part!
Oh, you want to know what color I chose?

| If you are surprised by this, clearly you didn't read yesterday's post yet. I forgive you. |
I know, I know, but just hear me out!
I knew I had some pictures pinned of rooms with pink, but I had no idea how many. Honestly, I thought I would have to pull from a couple of different boards, but I was kind of shocked how much I have pinned pink & navy rooms on my Living Room board.
I always thought pink was ultra girly and more for a young girl, not a family room. Not for a room where the man of the house spends just as much time as the woman, but maybe for a woman's office. In the past few months I have become completely and utterly obsessed with the color blush/vintage pink and how amazing it works for everyday spaces {not just my make-believe bachelorette pad}.
For those of you that made it to the end of this unbelievable long post you're in for a treat!
Here is a list of everybody in the challenge. Check out there blogs and the awesome colors each lady chose! Also, The final week will be a wrap up and a HUGE blog hop where you can link up a post showing how YOU added a new {challenging} color to your home, too! I really hope some of you will take the challenge and link up on May 1st. Mark your calendar!
