I discovered something about myself two days ago. I like clean bathrooms. Crazy, right?!
I see pretty, colorful, wallpapered, high glossed bathrooms all the time that I adore. I don't fall-out over them, or want to run home and recreate the look, though. I have realized that I'm in love with white and gray bathrooms. They just seem so clean! Don't you think the place you "get clean" needs to seem be clean? I didn't quite realized the severity of my love until I looked at my Bathroom board two days ago, and wowza...
The *pro* that installed the tile for the previous homeowner in our home did a real *bang up job*. We talk about replacing it all the time. I think J will be on board with this design choice, especially after all my pink antics lately.
Are you on the Mr. Clean train, or do you love the color splash?
Since we have a historic home we're pretty much doing all the bathrooms in marble. Only one bathroom is (almost) done and I painted it gray cashmere which is a greenish gray. I think I'm a no bright colors in the bathroom person...for now. We'll see.

ReplyDeleteI think a white bathroom is classic. Plus if all the tile and fixtures are white, you can always add color on top later if you want in the walls or mats, etc. The thing that always bugs me about pinterest bathrooms is they aren't real. I mean, they are, but they dont have any mats on the floor or toilet paper... ya know? Actually I think they avoid showing the toilet all together.
