Clearly I use this blog as an organization tool as well. I got kind of scattered and temporarily forgot about my living room projects. I've actually got almost everything complete!
I started looking at my list and realized that I can cross almost everything off. I can't even tell you the level of satisfaction that gives me. It's ridiculous how much I love crossing something off a list.
I don't have true "before & after" pictures yet, but you can get a good idea of most of it so far.
{Yes, I will do a full "b & a" when there is a finished after.}
Before
{FYI: There was a LOT we liked about our living room to begin with, but I just wanted to make a few updates.}
Here's the List:
Somehow hide the cable box, DVD player, etc.
Find new basket for storing G's toys
I haven't shown you all these things yet, I'll try to get to that this week.
But in case you're just joining us, here is where we are now!
This picture you can see I've move the table from the right of the sofa, to the left and it actually makes a huge difference. I also dyed a blanket pink and draped it of our sofa. As far as getting the couch reupholstered, that's not a need. We actually love that thing, and G has yet to mess it up either, so it's staying put.
And as most of you know, I went all out for the Color My World Challenge and painted our coffee table pink! You can also see we replaced our rug. {I'm totally loving it, just in case you were wondering.} I've give you a few details on the rug soon, too.
So there's the update. I promise I'll show ya the new light fixture and give you rug details later this week.
Hope yall had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day & weekend!

It looks done to me! Everything looks great and I love the new additions.
ReplyDeleteMy daughters room has a dresser that is the exact same pink as your table! I found it at a garage sale and repainted it before she was born.
ReplyDeleteI love this color! I bet your daughter's dresser turned out adorable! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIt's looking so good!
