Backyard Request

The Hubs and I are building a fence in our backyard right now.  Mostly for the overall privacy, but also because our family is growing!

{No, I'm not pregnant}

I don't know which one, but this is the litter we're going to get our puppy from...

ON THURSDAY!

We're really excited and G can't quit talking about getting a puppy.

So because we are building the fence, it's really getting us in gear for fixing the backyard.  From afar it looks ok, but up close it's really not very pretty.

We know we aren't going to be in this house too much longer {if we ever want to have bambino #2}so we want to get the backyard looking good.

Naturally, I went to Pinterest for some backyard inspiration and let me tell ya, it was a complete disappointment.  I found maybe 2 pictures worth pinning.

There really aren't many pictures of a backyard on Pinterest.  I guess people are labeling those pictures "heaven" or "love this" which is annoying, but it's something I do all the time. So I'm going to start doing better about how I label things.

Here are just a few things I'm digging from these backyards.

Love the pavers.

Love the gate.

Love the bar cart outside.
