Just what my title says...
I officially feel of the face of the blogging planet for an unofficial break.
AKA. This was not planned and I still can't quite figure out why I went and got all lazy for 2 weeks.
Weird.
Seriously, we didn't go on some week long vacation or lose internet or move...
We do have our new addition, Hank, and he's doing great! Other than chewing up my new living room rug {which J has already promised to replace, so I'm not too upset}, he's been a pretty good pup!
I have been keeping busy with Bird & Branch outside the blog though, more orders, refinishing some furniture, and photographing some new pillows Mom recently finished!

Yeah, she's pretty freaking gorgeous.
Here's the thing though, I've worked for 2 1/2 years to grow all the color out of my hair. It's finally gone, and I'm so glad I don't have to budget that "extra" into my life.
HOWEVER...
If I just got a few random highlights like this to get me through the rest of the summer, I could let it go until next summer, right?!

Love the hair, but the question is are you going to regret it in 3 months when you're regrowing it out?

Girl, don't even stress about unplanned blogging breaks! Sometimes, it's just better to step away if you're not feeling super inspired...then you come back all ready and rarin' to go (c: Ah, the highlights dilemma! I've been going back and forth on that for *years*...and I still don't have an answer! To highlight, or not to highlight...*sigh*!
